3-Tip Tuesdays: Emotion, Logic, & Fear

People buy for 3 reasons.
Let’s make sure understand all 3 reasons.
👇
1. Emotion
Imagine this…
You’re on a walk and you see someone wearing a dope pair of Nike shoes.
When you get home, you look them up online and see Ryan Reynolds rocking those same Nike shoes!
You think to yourself…
”Oh man, I have to have these.”
”Think of how cool I’ll look wearing those shoes.”
Despite having 6 pairs of workout shoes you buy them anyways.
Why?
Because you believe your status will increase if you buy them (emotion).
2. Logic
The shoes show up and you immediately put them on to go for a run.
You hit the running trail and think to yourself…
”These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn!”
”They also have this great way of keeping my feet dry.”
Your other 6 pairs of shoes provide the same value but these ones seem to be better.
Why?
Because you’ve convinced yourself that your status will decrease if you don’t have them (logic).
3. Fear
Your friend sees your new shoes and starts asking you about them.
You tell them how great they are and convince them into buying the same ones.
They look them up online and see they are all sold out.
You think to yourself…
”Oh man, good thing I bought them early!”
”I would have been searching for months to get these.”
Your other 6 pairs of shoes are on sale but these ones must be better.
Why?
Because you believe that since these are out of stock that these are better (fear).
Take home point…
There are emotional, logical, and fear based buyers.
Make sure you are connecting with all 3 when promoting your services.
Next week you’ll learn how to decide which channel you should be on.
✌️
Until next time,
