Not having a brand is like not having a spotter on a 315# bench.
Could you do it?
Sure… but don’t go looking around when you get stuck.

I used to think a brand was logos, color, and design.
Not quite.
It's what you stand for. 👍
It's what you stand against. 👎
It’s what people say about you.
It’s what people feel about you.
It's the whispers in the dark when no one is around.
It’s the first thing people think about you when they hear your name.
Your visuals (logos, color & design) are part of that equation.
They do matter.
But so does your level of kindness.
So does your level of honesty.
What’s the gut feeling people get about you?
That’s your brand.
Building a trustworthy brand takes time.
But it’s one of the most important things you can do for your business.
You build a brand the same way you build trust with a friend.
You show up, you stay honest and you do what you say you’re going to do.
It’s difficult to build a brand.
But it’s easy as hell to destroy it.
You destroy a brand the same way you destroy a friendship.
You ignore the relationships, you’re fake and you take more than you give.
Take home point…
- Recognize that your brand is a living breathing entity.
- Do build a brand that is in line with your values and beliefs.
- Don’t build a brand that is fake and takes more than it gives.
