The marketing tactics that worked in 2024 won’t work in 2025.
Here are the top-3 to keep you ahead of the curve.

1. Authenticity
Are you sick of feeling like you have to fact-check every piece of content you scroll across?
Me too.
Well… your customers feel the same way. In a world that is becoming more saturated with AI-generated content every day, they are craving authenticity and transparency.
In 2024, it was all about highly edited and highly curated content. Now, as long as the information is good, people don’t care if it has fancy transitions and color grades.
Even more than that, people PREFER that it doesn’t have all the slick editing.
I can safely say this is one trend I’m super happy about.
Here’s what this means for you:
- Insane transparency.
- Personal and relatable stories.
- Showcasing real people getting real results.
Keep it real out there.
2. The Messy Middle
The traditional marketing funnel is dead.
It's no longer a simple linear journey from awareness to purchase. Clients interact with your brand across multiple touchpoints, both online and offline, making tracking their journey harder than ever.
I've seen this firsthand with my clients.
They might discover a brand through a social media post, watch a YouTube video, visit the website, run into the owner at a networking event, and finally decide to book an appointment weeks later.
From awareness to purchase is confusing as hell… which is why we call it the messy middle.
Here’s what this means for you:
- Be present both online and offline.
- Be consistent across all touchpoints.
- Embrace the long game.
The customer journey is a winding road; be present at every turn.
3. Video Domination
If you’re still only creating text or photo content, you will inevitably fall behind.
Video is no longer a "nice-to-have"; it's a must-have.
People are consuming more video content than ever before, and it's a highly effective way to convey emotion, build trust, and showcase your personality.
I know this to be true because, if you haven’t noticed yet, LinkedIn has a “Video” tab. It works almost identically to Reels or TikTok.
Even LinkedIn knows that video is the future of content.
Don’t get me wrong, I still think all great content STARTS with writing. Writing the script for a video will ensure that it’s well thought out.
But here’s what this means for you:
- Start with strong writing.
- Embrace more video content.
- Don’t be afraid to experiment.
Video is soon to be king.
Take home point…
- Be real, be transparent, and build trust.
- Embrace the complexity of the customer journey.
- Leverage the power of video.
