👇
If nobody fux with your brand.
You forgot to have fun.
I tend to be a bit too serious.
I’m very stoic by nature.
Although useful for life.
It’s not much fun.
When I started injecting more fun into my life.
My brand grew. 📈
An example is a video of me responding to my friends making fun of me.
It showed that I don’t have to be so damn serious all the time.
People fux’d with it.
It’s the advantage of having a small business.
You can do whatever you want.
More fun = more followers.
My favorite reason to spit facts?
Dopamine.
Do you know where marathons come from?
From the legend of the Greek messenger.
In 490 BC, the Persians stormed the city of Marathon, Greece.
Greece won the battle, and a messenger ran from Marathon to Athens (25 miles) to deliver the good news.
Upon his arrival, he died from exertion.
This is why we run marathons.
You’re welcome for the dopamine.
You see, whenever you learn something new.
You get a hit of dopamine.
Doesn’t that feel good?!
Here’s my point.
If you want a brand people fux with.
Educate them.
Preferably in a fun way. 🥳
Humans are FEELING creatures first.
And THINKING creatures second.
My Meyers-Briggs is an INTJ.
AKA… the “strategic thinker.”
But regardless of how “logical,” I believe myself to be.
I still make decisions based on feelings.
And rationalize it with logic.
Why do I wear Rhone apparel?
It makes me FEEL cool.
Why did I compete at Hyrox?
It made me FEEL strong.
Why did I run the Turkey Trot?
It made me FEEL connected.
Don’t be the logical brand.
Be the emotional brand.
Here’s an excellent place to start.
What do you want people to FEEL when they think of you?
Take home point…
- Have some fun.
- Share some facts.
- Make people feel.
✌️
What’s a burning marketing question I can help answer?!
